From late-stage Lyme to the Pure State.
Dominique Stelling is a transformational coach, teacher, and creator of the internationally taught Living the Pure State program, which has guided many people around the world to reconnect with their inner stability and clarity. Drawing from Buddhist psychology, mindfulness practices, energy medicine, and embodiment work, Dominique blends ancient wisdom with modern tools to help people move from fragmentation to wholeness and live from their deepest center.
Her teachings are rooted in her own powerful journey. After struggling with late-stage Lyme disease for 27 years, Dominique faced the loss of nearly everything she thought defined her life — her health, her marriage, and her sense of identity. Through her personal exploration of the Mind Body connection, she was able to understand and practice the subtle ways her mind and emotions affected her physiology, gradually moving from disabled to fully functioning again. During that profound transformation, she discovered that healing isn’t about fixing yourself but remembering your wholeness. The insights she gained during this journey became the foundation of the 12 Alignments, a framework that helps people embody presence, cultivate resilience, and integrate lasting transformation into their daily lives.
With over 30 years of experience studying the mind-body connection, Dominique holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston University (1993), with a minor in Southeast Asian religion and philosophy. She pursued a master’s degree in clinical social work at Simmons University while interning at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. Her journey into mindfulness and chronic pain management began after completing the eight-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program with Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. She deepened this expertise by studying myofascial pain dysfunction and trigger points at the Bonnie Prudden Institute for Myotherapy in Arizona.
Her passion for understanding the subconscious mind led her to complete certification as an Omega Health Coach with Dr. Roy Martina in Germany. Since then, she has expanded her knowledge through studies in Joy Mapping (Melissa Joy Jonsson), Somatic Experiencing (Dr. Peter Levine), meditation techniques (Dr. Joe Dispenza), and Nonviolent Communication (Marshall Rosenberg) at CIEL Akademie in Zürich. Additionally, she holds certification in Buddhist Psychology and Spiritual Coaching and is a certified Meditation Teacher under Lharampa Tenzin Kalden. Dominique is also a Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche certified Lu Jong Teacher and soon to be certified Shiné Meditation Teacher through Nangten Menlang International. She is also a Chief Happiness Officer certified by WOHASU and FIU Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Today, Dominique works with clients internationally, leads workshops and retreats, and speaks on the intersection of mindfulness, spirituality, and personal transformation. Her work resonates with a global audience seeking not just temporary relief but a complete, embodied pathway to peace, clarity, and empowerment.
